Do you have questions about your application or the hiring process at invenio? We have put together a collection of the most frequently asked questions. You found a matching job offer? We are looking forward to receiving your application. Please use the link 'Online Application' at the bottom of the job offer on our website. In this way, your application can be processed faster and reaches the correct person directly. A self-assessment of your knowledge facilitates the application process as well (further details in section 6). Should you not be able to complete an online application, for example for technical reasons, please send your application via e-mail to the contact person mentioned in the job offer.

After receiving your application, we verify if it is complete or if we need further information. Then our specialists check if your profile matches the needs of your desired job offer. At this point, the self-assessment of your skills is an advantage (for details see point 6). If interested, the department will contact you to arrange a (telephone) interview, for example. If your profile is not suitable for the job, we will forward the documents to other invenio-departments or locations, checking if they have a related vacancy we can offer you.

We gladly check your possibilities to start a career at invenio. Please apply preferably via our website. You find further information at our German site. You reach the display of vacancies via 'Stellenanzeigen / Bewerbung' and can send your speculative application via ꞌExpressbewerbungꞌ. You find all contact persons of our several locations at our German site ꞌKontaktꞌ.

Of course! After your registration, you can apply to our vacancies by clicking the button 'Online Application'. Please note that you can apply to a maximum of three jobs. Under 'My Applications' you find an overview of the job offers you selected, which you can remove again if wanted.

Your application should include an informative letter of application, your curriculum vitae and your certificates – preferably in .pdf format. If you do not have the German citizenship, please add a copy of your work and residence/settlement permit. We also need a self-assessment of your knowledge, your eligible workplaces and your earliest possible starting date. Last but not least: please do not forget to inform us about your desired salary.

By rating your general knowledge and your know-how in a specific field, you help us to match your application to a specific job offer and further job possibilities. We can therefore consider your application faster and more specifically on possible deployment areas.

You can upload multiple files to our database, each file with a maximum of 10MB. If you can not reduce the file size, please send us the files via e-mail.

Yes. Since our corporate language and the language of our clients is German, you have to be able to communicate in German fluently on a business level. All theses are written in German language.

After submitting your application, we receive your documents directly. Within a short time you gain access to your profile via the login details which are send to your e-mail address. Here you can give us more information and control the completeness of your application in the upper right corner of your profile.

As soon as you register, we will check the completeness of your application and contact you, if we need additional information/documents. Please note that the careful examination of your documents can take up to four weeks. Should you not hear from us within that time, feel free to inquire by phone or e-mail about the state of your application. Unfortunately this is not possible through our applicant portal.
