invenio develops holistically innovative products and systems from the initial idea to series production. Our interdisciplinary teams design complex mechatronic products based on a mix of mechanics, electronics and software. Our software engineers program specific and hardware-related firmware for control, measurement and regulation functions. We base our technical solutions on knowledge and methodology – regardless of whether they are subsystems or complete products.
Within the scope of product and system development, we also offer the development, optimisation and automation of mechatronic systems using innovative simulation technologies. The basis for this is a true-to-life digital image (digital twin) of the overall technical system under consideration, which is created by means of model-based methods for the analysis, design, optimisation and simulation of the underlying mechatronic subsystems.

A fundamental strength of our company is our the methodical and creative product-design process. This has resulted in numerous industrial property rights and patents, the exploitation of which benefits our customers. As part of this, we conduct innovation workshops (among other things) together with our customers, which we moderate. In order to meet cost targets, we attach great importance to production and function-oriented design in the early stages of the project.
Additionally, prototypes are built in our mechanics and electronics laboratories. After implementation of the software, we test (for example) functions and performance as well as service life. Our references range from small-series products to large-series products with several million units per year.
Up-to-date ideas and developments require early, comprehensive integration of the documentation into the product life cycle management process. The optimal interplay of technical and linguistic skills is indispensable here. Experienced experts are required who, closely following the EU directives and standards, produce legally compliant technical documentation.
