AI is integrated in our standard product 'Quality-Monitor' (QM) and is already being used successfully. With QM, several million component pairs (3D) are calculated and managed daily to ensure geometric consistency. Until now, this also involved a significant manual processing effort that could only be carried out by experts. Experts were given a list of the potential problems and needed up to 10 minutes to identify the problem area in detail. The AI shortens this task by presenting the expert with the problem area together with all the information required to make a decision at a glance. The AI solution from invenio VT allows experts to detect problems within seconds and decide on their relevance. Our AI gradually reduces the required manual effort. This starts with the preparation of the data and encompasses its enrichment with additional information and an independent evaluation of the conflicts.

'A lot helps a lot': This opinion is generally widespread. For the training of a neural network, as much data as possible must be available, so that learning can be successfully carried out using this information. However, for a meaningful evaluation of geometric conflicts by the AI, this alone is just not enough! In order to fully grasp the human analysis of a situation and have it independently evaluated by the AI, reliable information is needed. For the integration of our AI products it is very important to us that you are in control at all times. Therefore, the process role of the AI can be extended step by step, whereby you decide which tasks the AI takes over in the overall process. It starts by supporting you in your daily work. Specific work steps, which the expert has previously gone through manually, will be optimised and automated. The AI creates information that the user needs for analysis, which previously had to be created manually. The next stage is that the AI makes preliminary decisions which the user then only needs to check. In the subsequent stage, the AI makes independent decisions within the given framework. You decide which 'resource effects' you want to achieve by setting a 'confidence level'.

An artificial intelligence is a technology that is able to imitate human abilities such as logical thinking and make decisions based on human knowledge. The 'brain' of an AI is formed by a so-called neural network, which enables it to keep learning new things and to continuously develop itself. Neural networks are based on algorithms and are characterised by the fact that they can evaluate even huge amounts of data and automatically recognise patterns in them.
For us, artificial intelligence is not just a pure technology, but rather a way to effectively relieve the user. This includes, above all, support for time-consuming routine tasks. While such tasks are usually very tiring for the user, our AI completes them in no time at all. We see our AI as a kind of helping hand that supports the user so that he has free resources for other activities.
An artificial intelligence is trained by being fed information. It does not simply perform its tasks stubbornly, but adapts its actions according to its learning process. For example, it learns from success and failure. One means of training an AI is through intelligent algorithms that instruct it how to perform a particular task. The most efficient way for an AI to train and learn is through large amounts of data. Based on this input, it develops a pattern that is continually optimised in the ongoing learning process to achieve the best possible result.
In our artificial intelligence, we have mapped the extensive knowledge and many years of experience of our engineers.
