In the usability of medical devices, we focus on all safety-relevant and functional issues and do not ignore the clinical aspects. In the 'early phase usability' we offer you a much more comprehensive service for usability, especially for very complex active medical devices in development. The primary focus here is on creating concepts for the human-machine interface of your medical device to be developed. Taking special account of the clinical area of application and the resulting conditions, we develop solution proposals for the design of the technical side of the user interface. Experienced experts from the respective clinical environment are involved in this process.

Formative Usability

We take on the design, planning and implementation of your usability tests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - for example from the EU (MDR) or USA (FDA) - during product development.

Summative Usability

To avoid high follow-up costs, we plan and carry out final usability tests - in our usability laboratory with users from the field and always in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Market launch

We take care of the usability aspects for the market launch of your medical device. We create user manuals, instructions for use (IFU), analogue and digital help systems, instruction concepts and other important materials.
