Revalize and invenio Virtual Technologies are combining their expertise to offer customers maximum added value through an integrated solution and to further advance fully digital product development.
The two companies entered into a technology partnership this year. The aim is to combine the strengths of the Revalize PLM and DMS system PRO.FILE with the innovative DMU solutions from invenio Virtual Technologies and enable companies to develop products more efficiently.
Seamless integration of VT-DMU in PRO.FILE
With over 40 years of expertise, PRO.FILE specialises in PLM and DMS systems and supports medium-sized and larger companies in the digitalisation of product development and information processes. The platform covers the entire development process of digital products - from the idea to the design and further processing of 3D products.
invenio Virtual Technologies GmbH is a leading provider of digital product development and digital mock-ups. For more than 25 years, the company has been realising individual and intelligent solutions with AI that can be flexibly integrated as part of the modular VT-DMU software toolkit. The software solutions automate DMU, geometry and 3D processes - from digital product validation to assembly simulations and virtual production planning through to digital service.
invenio VT modules extend PRO.FILE with powerful DMU functions
Three integrated invenio VT modules supplement PRO.FILE with decisive tools for digital product development:
- Difference calculation: The DMU workflow enables the automated detection of geometric deviations between 3D components, assemblies or complete virtual products. The difference calculation ensures transparency in the development progress, supports version comparisons and creates a precise basis for change tracking and quality control.
- Data reduction: This module creates simplified 3D geometries for high-performance further processing and secure data exchange. This allows confidential design data to be protected, large assemblies to be visualised more efficiently and development and process costs to be reduced.
- Image generation: This function is used to automatically create high-quality visualisations directly from 3D data and delivers consistent image quality with short calculation times. This digital photo shoot saves expensive photography costs.
