The Redmine Connector for Polarion® allows you to link Polarion® work items with Redmine tickets and to create new Redmine tickets from Polarion®. How does it work? The Redmine Connector for Polarion® extends the view of work items in Polarion® to manage tickets in Redmine. Redmine tickets can be created and linked bidirectionally between the two tools.
Redmine is often used as a comprehensive ticket system. These Redmine tickets can have different sources and reasons: IT problems, tasks, situations where something does not work as expected – resulting in an open ticket. This also fits with test cases in Polarion®, as failed tests generate error tickets there. In addition to internal tests, a problem can also occur at the customer's site. The usual way would be to create a ticket in the ticket system – in this case Redmine. This means that there are two input channels – possibly even for the same type of problem.
