Keywords such as ‘digital transformation’ and ‘Industry 4.0’ summarise the increasing complexity of today's product development. We focus on the networking of systems, software and hardware engineering to create a holistic process. Through innovative modelling approaches, we ensure the consistent representation of all dependencies from system analysis to the detailed technical solution of individual disciplines such as software or hardware.
The goal: to shorten the development time of embedded systems – by quickly and efficiently mastering the step from system architecture to software design.
This is also our focus in our presentation at the preconference of the ESE Congress 2024: The invenio approach combines an extended SysML and UML profile with specific libraries that support the modelling of the method. The result is a holistic system and software model – applicable for embedded systems as well as for more complex software systems. In conjunction with C++ Real-Time OS such as ‘distortos’, IoT projects can be realised quickly and easily.
