Release 6.7 brings optimised image generation, new analysis functions and opens Quality Monitor for PLM processes in the 3DX context.
With version 6.7, Quality-Monitor takes the virtual validation of digital prototypes to a new level. The current release combines improved visualisations and extended analysis functions in 3D scenes with a strategic technological step towards system integration: the connection to the issue management of Dassault's 3DEXPERIENCE® platform. This further strengthens invenio Virtual Technologies' position as a technologically open partner for integrated, networked validation, DMU and PLM processes.
Optimised images for greater clarity in the analysis
In Quality Monitor 6.7, the optimised AI images that display the conflict points have been specifically developed further. The individual parts of a component are now coloured uniformly, with different shades of colour depending on their size. This allows components to be more clearly differentiated from one another. The colour intensity can also provide information on material properties and therefore also on the criticality of collisions.
From version 6.7, extended functions are available in the integrated 3D scenes for the detailed analysis of conflict points. Sections can now be generated in these 3D scenes for the first time, allowing problem areas to be analysed much more precisely. In combination with AI, these sectional views benefit in particular: The invenio AI automatically calculates the optimum camera perspective as well as cutting position and alignment. This creates additional transparency and improves the quality of decision-making, particularly in complex installation situations.
Quality Monitor opens up for 3DEXPERIENCE®
A key milestone of the release is the connection of Quality-Monitor to the issue management of the 3DX platform. The solution was realised with a leading automotive OEM: This is the first time that an existing VT software solution has been connected directly to 3DX. The integration is based on the official 3DX issue management interface and can therefore be transferred to other customers who also use 3DX. Quality Monitor plays an active role in the interaction between the systems: issues are specifically queried via the respective ID and the current status is synchronised with the database in Quality Monitor.
More performance, fewer resources required
In addition to functional enhancements, version 6.7 also addresses performance. The duplicate check and range calculation have been optimised and now require significantly fewer system resources than before. This has a direct impact on efficiency with large amounts of data and complex assemblies.
With Quality-Monitor 6.7, invenio Virtual Technologies shows how proven solutions can be consistently further developed with AI: through better visualisation, deeper analysis and a targeted opening for modern system landscapes.
