From specific requirements to practical application
Pragmatic approaches lead to applications with added value
Not every technical challenge requires a large-scale product solution right from the start. Particularly in complex development and engineering processes, the initial focus is often on filling a specific gap or ensuring that a process continues to run reliably. Plot2D demonstrates how such a requirement can be turned into a practical application. Specific requirements often call for functions that standard solutions do not cover.
invenio recognised as a ‘company with a future’
Invenio awarded 4 stars
A company’s future is shaped to a large extent by the people who work there. Employee motivation, commitment and enthusiasm are among the most important factors for sustainable growth and innovation. We are therefore all the more delighted to have received yet another accolade as an employer: Invenio has been included in *stern*’s list of ‘Germany’s Companies with a Future 2026/27’ and awarded 4 stars. The study was developed by the *stern* editorial team in collaboration with an advisory board and experts from the HR marketing agency EMBRACE.
invenio has once again been recognised as one of Germany’s most sought-after employers
by ServiceValue in collaboration with the F.A.Z. Institute
The study examines how companies are perceived as employers on the basis of extensive social media monitoring and a corporate survey. Among other things, the assessment covers topics such as job security, working hours, career development opportunities, communication, family-friendly policies and additional benefits. Companies that achieve above-average results within their sector and stand out positively from the competition receive an award.
Automatic hole pattern analysis prevents errors right from the digital product development stage
invenio Virtual Technologies (VT) extracts crucial information from geometric data for design and assembly
Complex machines, vehicles and industrial plants often contain thousands of bores and holes. These serve as assembly, fitting, handling or functional bores and are essential for subsequent manufacturing and assembly. It is precisely these geometric features that are at the heart of a new VT technology. This technology automatically detects bores and holes within 3D geometric data and makes their properties available for analysis and inspection processes.
40 years of invenio
Connected as one – across all sites and via Microsoft Teams
We celebrated a special milestone: 40 years of invenio. It was on 1 July 1986 that the foundations were laid for our company’s history – a history that began with a clear vision: to improve technology, rethink challenges and actively shape the future. To mark our anniversary, staff at our various sites came together in person whilst also being connected via a company-wide Microsoft Teams live event. This turned many individual locations into a shared moment – very much in the spirit of ONEinvenio.
From visualisation to the analytics workspace
invenio VT expands intelligent 3D scenes for virtual geometric validation
Virtual geometric validation (VGA) generates thousands of inspection results, depending on the product and stage of development. With Quality-Monitor, invenio Virtual Technologies (VT) enables numerous OEMs to identify, evaluate and document geometric conflicts such as collisions or clearance violations using AI. For problem areas that require in-depth analysis beyond this automated assessment, invenio VT is now systematically further developing its intelligent 3D scenes.
invenio at Talent & Match 2026
Successful kick-off for the new format
The new 'Talent & Match 2026' event format was the first career speed dating event organised in Regensburg specifically for international students and regional companies - and invenio was there too. The aim of the event was to connect young international talent with companies from the region at an early stage and to highlight specific prospects for internships, student traineeships and career entry. We were able to meet many motivated and interested students in a compact career speed dating session.
Leading Employer Germany2026
invenio has been honoured
invenio has been honoured by the Institute of Research & Data Aggregation as Leading Employer Germany 2026. The award recognises holistic employer qualities and is presented exclusively to the top 1% of employers in Germany. The award is based on a scientifically sound meta-study that collates millions of data points and feedback from a large number of validated sources. In a multi-stage analysis process, the data is systematically collected, analysed, validated and adjusted to enable an independent and objective overall assessment.
Girls'Day 2026 at invenio Ludwigsburg
Experience technology, discover the future
On 23 April 2026, invenio GmbH Engineering Services in Ludwigsburg opened its doors for Girls' Day - and the morning was all about technology, innovation and future prospects. Twelve participants took the opportunity to gain an exciting insight into the day-to-day work of development engineers in the field of electromobility. Under the motto 'A day as a development engineer for electromobility', the schoolgirls experienced first-hand how modern e-car batteries and hydrogen technologies are created - from the initial idea to the functioning prototype.
Mehr erfahrenTogether with OEM
The increasing complexity of product development, especially in the automotive industry, requires new approaches to harmonise quality, costs and time. invenio Virtual Technologies (VT) addresses this issue and supports companies in securing development processes virtually at an early stage and mapping them digitally from end to end. A holistic approach takes centre stage: instead of isolated tools, invenio VT develops integrated solutions that are geared towards specific use cases.
